"Violence is nurturance turned backwards," writes Nora Samaran. In Turn This World Inside Out, she presents Nurturance Culture as the opposite of rape culture and suggests how alternative models of care and accountability—different from "call-outs," which are often rooted in the politics of shame and guilt—can move toward inverting cultures of dominance and systems of oppression.
