Five special cat shifters are tasked with guarding and protecting the shifters in North America. Each lead very different lives, and have their own way of helping the shifters around them, but they all share the same code; keep the shifters hidden in the shadows, and living in peace. Times are changing though. They can't just sit back in the shadows and give subtle hints anymore and hope things go well for the shifters they watch over. It's time for them to come into the paranormal light and make their presence in the shifter world more widely known, for better or worse. Though not all of the Watchers are on board with that decision, and some fight to cling to the old ways as hard as they can.
